The park offers a rich and pleasant, serene parenthesis in the heart of the Valley of Castles.

In 1992, the park was declared as a historic monument. A major restoration work was then undertaken. Based on a project by Gilles Clément, the gardens of Beauregard evidence of the desire of the Countess du Pavilion to ensure the link between the past centuries with modern times. The collection of oaks and the pond created in the 21st century reflect these innovations. The renovation of the Ice House in 2008 has helped to revive a forgotten part of the park.

Steps through the park

Le parc offre une promenade riche et agréable, parenthèse sereine au cœur de la Vallée des Châteaux.

The Vertugadin, decorative slopes, lead down along the carpet of the Lys flower to the garden of portraits. A landscape creation dedicated to perennials, the garden portraits can be discovered in the rate of its 12 greenery rooms. From the top levels of the garden, the eye of the walker can enjoy the regular scheduling of the 12 rooms of the garden of portraits. This landscape creation was inaugurated in 1995 as a project by Gilles Clément, creator of the park in Paris André Citroën and the garden of the Musée du Quai Branly. Each garden, protected by its plant cell walls is a variation of a dominant colour and a scholar-building landscape exercise. Over 400 species of perennials and shrubs are changing, from mid-April to mid-October, with the variation of different blooms.

The Rose Garden is sheltering the walls of the garden. 107 roses form one of the largest rose gardens of the Loire Valley.
The roses are mostly former roses of Souvenir de Malmaison, Cardinal Richelieu and Count of Chambord.
A new rose garden was established in 2008, that was devoted to British species. Sherlock Holmes meets Sir Lancelot or Hyde Park nearby Covent Garden.
Orchards of decorative bark trees, the oak, the cédraie or the newest addition, the collection of bamboo enrich the park each year. The Ice House is hidden at the bottom of the park as well as the pond with water lilies, that is surrounded by curious dwarf conifers.
Finally, the chapel and a garden of heather offer a pleasant walk in the forest park.
