Dogs

Dogs are accepted on the park and the garden, kept on a leash.

The little dogs are accepted on the chateau if they are on your arms or in a special bag.

The big dogs are prohibited on the chateau.

·         Unusal tour :Monsieur is in Chambord, Madame is in Tours ! In the absence of their masters, the maids of the castle reveal you the everyday life of Mr. and Mrs. Thier, lords of Beauregard.
We are obviously in the year of grace 1555, the masters are gone and the maids take you on a discovery of Beauregard.
An unusal experience is guaranteed for big and small !

Coming to Beauregard: on foot, by bike, car or helicopter, everything is possible!

20 minutes from Chambord. 1h30 from Paris by car or train. At the heart of the chateaux of the Loire Valley, the castle is located in the town of Cellettes (41120).

Exit Blois. Follow the directions "Châteauroux-Vierzon.
Entrance to the domain via RD 956. Village Cellettes.

From Paris (Station d'Austerlitz) - take a direct train to Blois or take any train towards Tours and change in Orléans

Cycling: 5km from the Loire bike circuit

The closest is route number 4

It joins up with route n°1 going through Candé sur Beuvron, Valaire, Les Montils and Seur.

Circuit n°5 going through Cour-Cheverny,Tour en Sologne with the château of Villesavin and Bracieux.

And circuit n°6 going through Cheverny, Fontaines-en-Sologne and Cour-Cheverny.

 

 

Access for people with reduced mobility

Accessible to people with reduced mobility:  :

  • The 40 ha park with many botanical collections, re-imagined by the landscape architect Gilles Clément. (accompanist strongly recommended for wheelchair users)
  • The ground floor of the chateau with the antique kitchen and hall

The centerpiece of the chateau is on the first floor and not accessible for wheelchairs*, but you can find in our shop :

  • A 24mn film that explains the gallery of portraits
  • 3 groups of postcards which show all 327 portraits of the gallery with their name on the back!
  • Postcard form the study of bells, the library and the room of Louis XIV!

*accessible only by narrow staircases
